I was asked by Stichting Arsis in Bergen op Zoom to give a lecture on Ulysses for Bloomsday 2018. Though unfortunately I was ill on the day itself, the organiser read out my lecture and apparently it was well-received. As there are several good Dutch translations to choose from, I hope my lecture has inspired people to try and tackle Joyce’s masterpiece!
